In a recent musical venture, Sonu Nigam captured the audience's attention with his most recent collaboration alongside Bhushan Kumar of T-series, titled "Bitter Betrayal." Notably, the acclaimed singer, famous for his rendition of the song "Chiggy Wiggy," playfully poked fun at AR Rahman, the song's composer, affectionately labeling it as a 'bekaar song.' In a recent interview with Red FM, Sonu Nigam openly expressed his distaste for the song "Chiggy Wiggy" and playfully teased AR Rahman, who composed it. The singer remarked, "Chiggy Wiggy bohot hi bekaar gana hai. I don’t like the song at all. I don’t know why Rahman made such a bad song. I mean, how can they get Kylie Minogue on board and produce such a subpar track? I appreciated being considered for the song, but with Kylie Minogue involved, the standards could have been elevated." Additionally, he mentioned his attempt to breathe new life into the song by performing it live, stating, "But there are moments when even Rahman can make errors. Nevertheless, I personally do not have a liking for the song. It had the potential to be significantly better. Collaborating with Kylie Minogue, we had the opportunity to create a song that matched her caliber. I made several efforts to perform this song on stage and reinvigorate it."


Chiggy Wiggy is a lively song featured in the Akshay Kumar-starrer film Blue. This track features vocals from Kylie Minogue, Sonu Nigam, and Suzanne D'Mello, with lyrics penned by Abbas Tyrewala. The musical composition was masterminded by AR Rahman and went on to become one of the major chart-toppers.
